On sleep
You’ve probably heard NBA players say they
trained late at night or early in the morning because they couldn’t sleep knowing someone else was training on the other coast. This is flawed. It’s the opposite approach that gives you a competitive edge.
I will
go to sleep early because I can’t work knowing that someone else “on the other coast” is following a consistent sleep schedule, and therefore generating higher-quality ideas and executing them more effectively.Because of leverage, sleeping well to be sharp and make higher quality decisions has far more long-term impact than sacrificing sleep to work longer hours.
Good night,
Daniel

sleep is way to underrated, and a society that doesn't promote it doesn't promote healthy citizens
