Week #2

No music videos this week, just close your eyes

Hello, world! :)

Writing this weekly thing is making me realize how fast time passes. Do you know that feeling when you realize summer is over and start wishing you enjoyed it more? Remember that there will be one day you’ll listen to your favourite song and it’ll be the last time you’ll ever hear that song; there will be one day you will walk up to a dance class and it’ll be the last dance class you’ll ever take; there will be one day you’ll make another piece of your art and it’ll be the last piece of art you’ll ever make; there will be one day you’ll admire the sunset and it’ll be the last time you’ll ever see that; there will be one day you will hug your loved one and it’ll be the last time you’ll ever hug her; ultimately, there will be one day you’ll wake up and it will be the last time you’ll ever wake up. Until that day, don’t forget to enjoy the journey, every instant of it. 🌄

💤 Productivity and Health

Productivity hacks are cool, but, at the end of the day, there’s nothing as good for your health (and, consequently, productivity) as eating well, sleeping well, and exercising frequently. The secret to eating well is not buying junk food in the first place. The secret to exercising frequently is making it enjoyable. The secret to sleeping well is… more complicated. I’ll talk about what works for me in the following weeks.

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being.— Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under the trees on a summers day, listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the blue sky, is by no means a waste of time.— John Lubbock
